I took my daughter to the aquarium a few months ago and they had this book there. She seemed to like it, and of course it was cheaper on amazon, so I bought it here. She loved it at first but she's not that interested with it anymore, but that's the case with most of her old toys and books. It served the purpose...some temporary joy. The words and art are dumb...it's not a great story book. The real treat is using it as a puppet fish.
My 6 month old is absolutely in love with "Little Fish." It has a better story and rhyme than some of the other titles in this series and we could not live without it around here. It is sturdy, but easy for my 6 month old to handle by himself and sometimes is the only thing that makes him happy when teething strikes. So glad we found this book.
Cute little book. Bought this as my kid LOVES "Little Horse". The rhythm of Little Crab isn't as good but he still loves the puppet bit. Would make a decent gift for a little one
I loved the Little Puppy and Little Giraffe Books in this series, but little crab story was disappointing. I realize it's a kids book, so I'm not expecting a riveting story line, but my baby really seems to like the other books better and they have a cute story. Get Little Puppy or Little Giraffe instead.
Cute story and graphics. I bought this for an 11mo. old. He enjoys reading it, but I wouldn't say this his favorite book. He still loves cloth books that make crinkle noises. My one issue with this book is that to shut the book you have to poke the crab puppet completely out the back shut the book and then pop him/his claws out the front otherwise the claws get stuck going through each page. This is not a problem when you are reading the book only when you're ready to shut the book. Overall very pleased.
My 3 and a half month old loves these puppet books. She gets most excited about the little crab. Great baby books!
